| Well for those who have played EverQuest you know frogloks, but for those that don’t allow me to explain what the frick froak is. In the wonderful world of EQ they have frogloks ( just like every other adventure game ) but in EQ they don’t ribbit, or croak, or even sing little songs about being green, they FROAK. The halls of Guk are all but empty now-a-days, but long ago they would ring with the shout of “TRAIN” as 40 or more poorly designed, and even more badly rendered, frogloks hopped their way to kill some unwitting adventurer. “FROOOOOOOOOOOAK” they would yell, and hop hop hop their way, steel long-sword in hand, to battle!Ah, those were the days. | |

Having redone the website, I revisited a lot of my old pages. The art makes me cringe on some, not for the fact that I think it is just bad, but for the fact that some of them I knew I could have done better on. There are parts where I realize that all I wanted to do was get the page out.
Part of me wants to go back and redo the whole thing over again, but I just think I'll stay the course and try to pick up from where I left off.
I look at it as a journey, in more ways than one. Your art gradually changed as you sought, then found, your style, and as you got more practiced. It will probably do the same thing again, as you come back to drawing. Your new art may even be more different still.
Go amuse yourself by looking at the early years of some comic strip you follow, and see how different the early art is from latter stuff.
